I’m Matt Bell-Watson. I’m an experienced comms professional, based in Essex, where I live with my husband Chris. I’m also a massive foodie. I love going out for dinner with friends and family, and trying out new recipes at home. I also enjoy taking cookery classes, particularly abroad. And yes, I admit it: I am one of those people that like to plan entire holidays around foodie experiences.
I’m also someone that likes to recreate the food and drink I’ve enjoyed in bars and restaurants, at home. Food that is so delicious, you want to eat it again.
In February 2018, I decided to start a blog to share some of the meals I’ve recreated at home. Wherever possible I simplify my recipes. That means easy to follow instructions and no need for fancy professional equipment. I also try to keep the number of ingredients you’ll need to buy as small as possible. And I swap out hard to find ingredients with ones you can buy in most good stores.
